I was introduced to this prompt by Nova. If you haven’t been to Nova’s blog yet, you should do yourself a favor and pay her a visit. She is a wonderful writer and an even more wonderful person. Just click on her name to be directed to the prompt where I learned about the Friday Fictioneers!
What exactly is the Friday Fictioneers?
The Friday Fictioneers is a prompt challenge created by Rochelle Wissof. And her instructions are quite simple.

I thought this sounded like fun, so I thought I’d give it a shot and write my own story in 100 words or less using the photo prompt that was given below:

The Garden
It was the way he opened himself to me, like a flower welcoming the sunlight. I could have sat forever beneath the palm trees, listening to him talk for hours. About his life, the sights he’s seen, or about the universe. The subject didn’t really matter.
It was about the feeling he gave me, the way he made my home a sanctuary for butterflies, and the way my blood instantly boiled at his gentle touch.
And when he kissed me in that garden, I knew this love was one for the ages.
