Friday Favorites #17

One would think submitting an 800 page report from one software to another would be simple. I mean after all it is only 800 pages of html text I have to filter through to find any mistakes, then find who made such mistakes, contact them to fix said mistakes, and repeat this process until all the mistakes have been corrected. Then it’s just a simple click of a button to export data from my agencies software to the HUD agency. Easy peasy, right?!

I’m not joking, this report is literally 800 pages, it is literally html text, and it should not be this complicated, and the exporting process never EVER goes smoothly, EVER!!!!

But on a positive note, it is Friday (FINALLY) & other than the hiccups of sending this enormous report & dropping a tomato on my shirt, today has been extremely productive.

So I’m going to share some of my favorite things to lift my spirits by reminding myself of all the things I have to be grateful for, and to connect with you, my beloved readers. Maybe we have similar interests, maybe we’re kindred spirits, or maybe you’re not having the best of weeks either and could use a little pick-me-up!

I first discovered Maggie Rogers last summer, a friend on Instagram posted a song of Maggie’s to her Instagram story, and I’ve been hooked ever since!

Her music comes from the soul, makes my hips sway, and makes me happy! Maggie seems like my kind of people, I bet we’d be friends if we ever met.

If you have been reading me for a while, then I am sure you have probably figured out that one of my favorite things to do in all the world is laugh!! I love to laugh and I love people who make me laugh, which isn’t hard to do since I’m so easily amused.

Another one of my all time favorite celebrities is Keanu Reeves. He’s a really nice guy with a great sense of humor, I mean what’s not to love?

Here he is in an interrogation gone wrong. I love these “Funny or Die” skits.
