Speechless

view

Last night while walking through my dining room

the view outside my window stopped me in my tracks.

Still wet from my bath and not dressed enough to go outside –

I stood frozen in wonder

trying to think of a way to describe

the paint strokes of purple across the clouds

or the fire piercing through the storm

that had not yet awoken

Despite my vast vocabulary

I do not have the words to describe

the beauty of mother nature

But how do you describe something

that renders you speechless?

You have captured that stunning moment so beautifully. That wonderful moment when something is so powerful that it overwhelms our cognitive minds. When beauty punches us hard right between the eyes. That rare moment when a passerby can enjoy seeing you barely dressed and soaking wet, just staring out the window….😂🤣😂😮😜

There things in this world for whom no words have been invented, yet you described it so well.

Yes, beautiful things beyond words are hard to explain. Just like your poems. I think I found a new favorite poet here in WordPress 😁
