Welcome back!
I am so glad it is finally the end of the week. It hasn’t been a bad week, but it’s been extremely chaotic, I have had numerous people at work come vent to me about things I won’t get into on here, and while I do love my job, there are a lot of things I would change if I had the power to do so.
Everyone has just been frustrated & we’re trying to make the most out of some stressful situations, but it is what it is.
Top 4 Songs On Repeat This Week:
The majority of songs this week have been on the harder side to help get me through this insane week, except for one, because even through all the darkness and chaos, love is always at my core!! β€
- In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida by Iron Butterfly
I love this song so, so much!! I always have, there’s just something about it that gets my body moving!!
2. Into The Void by Blacksabbath
This is another one of my all time favorite songs. I just love that guitar riff!! It’s so dirty!!
I REALLY like Black Sabbath, not always, but sometimes, more than Metallica. (I know, such a shock, right?!?!)
Also, Soundgarden does a cover of this song, and I must say, they do it great justice!!
3. Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd
Pink Floyd is one of my all time favorite bands, and this song is so heart wrenching, but oh so beautiful. I just love it, and it speaks to me on so many levels. I can easily close my eyes, get lost in the sound, and drift away to far off lands.
4. Your Song by Elton John
I adore this song, the lyrics are so sweet! β€ β€
Highlights of The Week
Lots of productive writing. My creativity has been sparked and I have all kinds of ideas for future blog posts!! I also have been making different kinds of bucketlists, and working on my novel. I had a hard time starting my Blue Haven novel with Angela & Jared, but I finally got it worked out and the words have just been flowing!! I love when that happens.

Wandering down the Youtube rabbit hole with Neil. We watched lots of documentaries about the evolution of different genres of music, it was so interesting!!
Dinner plans with friends. Yesterday out friends Khristyn & Jordan came over and hung out with us. Neil made oven baked BBQ chicken (it stormed so we couldn’t grill,) & I did my famous cheesy potatoes. We watched Holy Moley, which was hilarious. We geeked out over American Horror Story, & Neil & I agreed to be guests on Jordan’s podcast that he co hosts with his friend, Eric. That podcast is called Random Ramblin’s.

While wandering down the Youtube rabbit hole with Neil the other night, we stumbled on this lovely gem of the stupidest game show answers. Some of these had me rolling!!
Enjoy!
As always, I’m wishing all of you a fantabulous weekend!!
Stay weird and great!
Love & life lessons,
Kristian

ONLY sometimes. I LOVE my Metallica, BUT….overall, I can’t deny that Black Sabbath is just a tad bit better, only because Black Sabbath is so different, I’m almost always in the mood to listen to them, plus I mean…they pretty much started the Heavy Metal movement.

I like the difference in them… they were a hybrid at the time… before the speed guitar and everything we know heavy metal to be today, theyβre so different and if thereβs any influence in Tommi Iommiβs guitar for me, itβs that!

Oh, yes!! I completely agree, Tony Iommi belongs in a whole different category, ask any heavy metal band today, they’ll tell you Iommi was a huge influence!! The whole band as a whole is amazing. Black Sabbath took current events, darkness, hatred, war & while they weren’t the first to sing of those things, they were the first to ad that heaviness. Iommi’s guitar matched those lyrics, that’s why they’re so great…you can feel it.

Donβt get me wrong, Ozzy was good… I really appreciate Volume 4 because my dad had the record. But I think I liked them better when Ronnie James Dio sang….

Of course you do…. Lol! I like Ozzy better, but Dio was good. Heaven and Hell is one of my favorites.
