  6. Each photo and accompanying words took me on different journeys in my mind as I processed them. And I’m sorry, but almost all insects frighten me, and the few that don’t frighten me frustrate me when they are around me. I admit that I’m going to kill a spider I see before my brain even registers that it, too, has a purpose in this world.

      I do not like insects either, and I will probably still kill spiders in my home, but I do try to be mindful when I’m outside in their territory. I am with you, though. My initial thought is to kill first. Spider bites are not fun!
