So much emotion, so much truth! I am in awe of how well you captured feelings with a few words, and how strong those words worked into my heart. Your words did not make me feel happy, nor did they make me feel sad. The only way I can describe it is that your words made me feel real.
Damn, that’s good.
I was going to say that the one about storms was my favorite. Then I got to the end. The one about looking back is wonderful. It’s okay to look back to see whence you have come, not to wish you were still there. It saddens me to see the number of my old classmates who are “living in the past.” “Good old days?” These are the good old days. Right now. Because that’s when I’m alive. Hey . . . you should write THAT poem! LOL!
❤ ❤
Thank you, Jeff! You flatter me. I can certainly try to write a poem about living in the moment! I’m a huge fan of nostalgia, but yes, I don’t remain there when I talk about the “glory days,” and I know my best days still lie ahead of me. Thank you again, my friend! 🧡🧡
Beautiful images and powerful, well placed words. Cheers Kristian! Great job!

Wow! I think that’s the best compliment a writer can hear! The emotions are very real, so I’m happy those feelings came through!
