Fall/Halloween Fun

Wednesdays will forever be photo-sharing days. However, I have been putting too much unneeded pressure on writing poetic captions. So, for the time being, I am going to save those until I come up with a few naturally instead of trying to force it every week.

In the meantime, I have tons of photographs to share and stories to tell!

The Adventures of Christen and Kristian

My bestie, Christen, moved closer to home last year!! She had lived in Arizona, but last December, she moved to the neighboring state of West Virginia! Before she made the move, however, she came home in the early fall. We visited a newish brewery and walked around downtown before hanging out by the pool on the unusually warm September day.

An alley of umbrellas! It was for a local charity. Patrons would purchase umbrellas, and the proceeds went to the charity known as Cindy’s Fund. The charity helps cancer patients pay for various medical expenses.

I am fond of window displays, and of course, I especially loved this Peanuts one!

After craft beers and walking around, we went to Christen’s mom’s place, hung out with dogs, and sipped mojitos before hanging by the pool!

As much as I love taking photos, when I hang out with my friends, my phone and camera are often forgotten because I am in the moment, enjoying their company. I did take a selfie when I came home because I felt the need to document I was wearing makeup.

This is Halloween

Growing up, my friends dreamed of being Disney princesses, but I always wanted to be Elvira!

Mulled apple cider in a Halloween cup on Halloween is an entire vibe!

These are a few of my favorite Villains. I have since added Hans Gruber. Now, I need Ursala, Elvira, the Crypt Keeper, Khan, and Sideshow Bob!

I made homemade multigrain bread so I could make healthy homemade croutons! Notice the cute Halloween tea towel!

After Apple Cider came sangria! While wearing a Camp Crystal Lake shirt, no less!

**Fun note: The shirt actually reads “Camp Crystal Lake Counselor,” and I have had three people ask me where Camp Crystal Lake is. Haha! For those of you who are not horror fans, it is the place where Jason Vorhees (Friday the 13th) drowned.

Fall is not complete without dutch apple pie!

Must be the season of the witch!
