Sunrise, Sunset

I have been obsessed with the sky for as long as I can remember. I am often staring at it. Sunrises and sunsets are my absolute favorite, but I am also incredibly fond of clouds, thunderstorms, starry nights, and the moon.

I have many more sunset pictures than I do sunrises because my insomnia gets the better of me, but when I rest peacefully, I am always up before the sun. I think that is my favorite time of day. I can sit on my porch with my cup of coffee, and everything is so quiet, save for the birds. Watching the sunrise while I sip my coffee or do yoga brings a sense of enlightenment like nothing else. I can think of no better way to start my day.

I really enjoy taking pictures of sunrises and sunsets, and if I could, I would invite you all over to sit or stretch with me while we watch, but since that isn’t possible, I will share them with you here. There will be many more to come because I literally have thousands of pictures…

Enjoy!

Sunrises

Obviously, some of these sunsets were taken last winter or early spring, most likely when I came home after a run. Not even the cold can stop me from appreciating such a spectacle.

Sunsets

All of the above sunset photos were from my evening stroll a couple nights ago. I love those pink clouds!

Love & life lessons,

Kristian

If I were ever asked to list the five most beautiful things in the world, sunrises would be on the list. Loved the photos, dear friend!

Beautiful pictures, including the selfie! I love sunrises and sunsets (especially when they are over an ocean, but I don’t get to see them so often).

Hi, Jeff! Thank you for your kind words! Sunrises and sunsets over an ocean are especially beautiful, but like you, that is a rare treat for me. Watching the sunrise over a mountain is quite spectacular, too!
