Hello, beautiful souls,
I promised to start sharing more of my photography, and I want to keep my promise. I have decided to stop calling these installments “Wordless Wednesdays” because they are never wordless. Haha! I always feel the need to explain the story behind some of the pictures, or at the very least, give an update on what’s happening in my life when the images aren’t very exciting.
Last fall, we went to Cleveland, Ohio, to spend time with family when Grandma’s sister died. While the reason for the trip was sad, I had a blast visiting some of my favorite people on the planet. My cousins C&G have a tiki bar which I enjoyed spending time in, eating, laughing until my stomach hurt, and listening to old familiar stories I’ve heard countless times and ones I have never heard. I got to know another cousin’s wife on a deeper scale, talked with yet another cousin about writing, shared ideas, and nerded out over as much pop culture as possible. Of course, there was talk of baseball, which always tends to happen when one spends time with a retired sports commentator for a minor league baseball team.

G has a reindeer that she decorates for each season. The adorable decoration is a perfect exanple of G’s personality, which explains why I adore her!

Of course, I always have to take a selfie (usually because I put forth the effort to put on makeup).

The last night I was there, I went to Lake Erie and took pictures of the sunset. I’m not sure exactly how many photos I had to sort through, but it was in the hundreds. Don’t worry; only 24 made the cut.
Sunset Over Lake Erie

It flatters me that some of you enjoy my photography so much. I especially love sharing it with you!
Love and life lessons,
Kristian
