I have baked many a pie
throughout my years,
but none more than apple.
I’m not sure why
I always come back to apples…
Maybe, because no matter the season
or event, apple pie works.
Or, perhaps, it is the apple itself…
red, round, cradled in my hand
unable to resist the urge
to sink my teeth into it…
Reminds me of you.
sour and tart
soft from the heart

Love it! A bit of apples and vampirism at the end. 😉

That is a good looking crust. Yummy. I could never make my own crust but I do make a mean scone. Have a blessed week. Big hugs 🤗 Joni

People keep telling me I should open my own bakery. I’m afraid it would take the fun out of baking though. I’d love to try one of your scones! I hope you have a blessed week, too! Hugs 🤗

Thank you Kristian, same to you. I think you have to truly want a business yourself. It is something you never get away from. My problem is if I bake we consume like twelve scones in three days. I have such a sweet tooth. You would probably do well. More hugs coming back your way. ❤️🤗
