Over and Under

After a long hiatus we are back with episode 7!! Neil and I were having a hard time coming up with topics to discuss. After a year of being stuck in the house together, doing the same damn things day in and day out, it’s hard to find interesting topics to discuss and share with the world.

In this week’s episode, we discuss overrated and underrated music. I have posted the links to the bands and songs we mention in the episode at the end of this post.

We hope you enjoy this episode, and we would greatly appreciate any feedback you have for us. We want to start engaging more with our listeners, but it’s hard to do if you remain silent. Let us know what you think and give us some topic ideas you would like to hear us discuss! If we use your ideas, we’ll give you a shoutout!

Thank you & happy listening!

I’d disagree with the assessment of early Beatles. I think that they’d fare very well against the bands in the early 60’s.

I’ll just post two underrated songs/bands:

    Two overrated:

I resisted placing the Chili Peppers on this list because I know that you like them. πŸ˜€

I also disagree with the assessment of early Beatles. I’m a Beatles fan through & through & can see how they shaped modern musicians & paved the way for new styles. That one is all Neil. Lol. Thank you for refraining from adding RHCP! Lol. I do love them!!

    • Agree on this one. Beatles got one of the songs in the era. I prefer the one pop rock from 70s and 80s but even if all I see is black and white videos… scratched that, I loved their songs every since I heard it on the radio for the first time back in the mid-90s (my childhood πŸ˜†)

I’m a bit biased. I’ve loved the Beatles since I before I can remember. My mom always said when I was a toddler and I heard them I would instantly start dancing. Lol! There will always be a soft spot in my heart for them.

Led Zeppelin – stratospherically overrated, surely. You mentioned them twice in passing – elephant in the room! πŸ˜†
