In this episode, Neil and I start off by talking about black and white movies which somehow leads to us talking about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Superman, and 2001: Space Odyssey. I’m not really sure how we got from Black and White movies to Ninja turtles, but welcome to the quirky conversations of Neil and Kristian!!
This was a fun conversation topic and this episode is full of laughter, mostly mine, but I’m used to being the only one laughing at times,. I’m so easily amused!
I really hope you enjoy this episode and I would love to hear which black and white movies hold the honor of being your favorites.
As always, thank you for listening and please feel free to leave comments and suggestions for future podcast topics, if we use your topic, we’ll give you a shout out during that episode!
Enjoy!!
Love & life lessons,
Kristian
Really beautiful podcast. I loved the interplay discussions on the movies. I liked the discussions on Marvel Comics movies. I welcome your enthusiasm for nostalgia formatted films – a refreshing topic not that often presented. Well done Kristian.π₯πΏπ½ππ

A great podcast. Love the wit and banter between you two. You had me at turtle nostrils! My favorite black and white film leans to the more modern era with Schindler’s List. Well written, well acted, and beautifully cinematic!

I have gained a greater appreciation for black and white movies over the years. We watched the 1953 version of “The War of the Worlds” this weekend! I remember watching The Wizard of Oz and It’s A Wonderful Life as a kid, nearly every year.

It’s been a tradition for as far back as I can remember to watch It’s A Wonderful Life every year on Christmas Eve. My mom & I would watch it when NBC did a special. They stopped, so my mom bought me the movie so we could continue it. I think NBC has brought it back, but Neil & I continue the tradition now. π₯°π₯° The original War of the Worlds is great too! So many black and was white movies are so good. I have discovered so many through TMC. Neil & I will often go to bed early and watch old black and white movies, there’s just something about it I find so charming!! Thanks for listening!! β€
