Wasting My Hate

divide

You feed the world with your lies

turn your cheek while your baby cries

Your blackened soul has turned to stone

point your finger for the knives you’ve thrown

Don’t want to waste my hate on you

slimy, greedy, unintelligible fool.

My blood can’t help but boil at your words

and the lack of compassion for the voices unheard

Go on, “big man,” you’ll get yours someday

we all know you’re just a powerplay away

Nowhere to hide, even music reveals your scars โ€“

to quote Roger Waters, “Ha,ha! Charade you are!”

Wow! That is powerful. It is sharp, concise, and focused like a laser of words. I love the karmatic sense of the closing stanza. Well written, my friend!

I’m assuming you’re talking about the CCP, since they’re the ones who are at fault here. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I think that politics are perceptions and we tend to make excuses for liking or disliking politicians, much in the same way we root for sports teams. For example, the Kavanaugh hearings, where the most powerful woman in the world said ‘we have to believe her’ (Blasey-Ford), even after 3 FBI investigations of Kavanaugh. But for Biden? She says Joe is Joe and she supports him. Not a chirp on the blogoshphere. Where’s the outrage from the left?

Anyway, a powerful and cutting poem, and punctuated by one of my favorite songwriter’s songs. Well done, Kristian!!

Yeah. I’m not one to debate politics, and I agree, there are left wing nut jobs as well as right, however; this isn’t about parties. It’s about a man who makes fun of a disabled man on national television, who is more concerned with wealth than human lives, and thinks he has the right to a woman’s body for the simple fact that he is a man. And I would think as much regardless of title or party.

I agree, he is a terrible human being, but the alternative was worse. I would disagree with you about wealth and human lives, and no one has the right to anyone’s body. See? We can mostly agree, although we’re probably in opposite political spectrums. But now that some main stream politicians have set the bar on sexual harassment, it needs to be applied to their side as well, and not used for political expediency.

I don’t really belong to either party, I agree & disagree with certain items both sides, but I do lean a little more towards the left. He said that he was willing to risk American lives if it meant bettering the economy. I was livid. I’m still livid. But all of that aside, I know and get along with a wide range of people who have varying ideals and political beliefs. I don’t care what party you side with as long as you show compassion, ESPECIALLY those who are underprivileged.
