Day 169

A different view besides the same 4 walls. I had to actually go into the office, nobody was there, and it was so surreal. I’m hoping the sun comes out and warms the atmosphere so I can show you prettier pictures. ❤

Happy middle of the week!!!

Okay, as a Taoist, I was so happy to see the first picture. It can be a struggle at times to discern the wisdom held within, but a clear mind and continued consumption will lead to some great epiphanies, hopefully. I, on occasion, write Taoist parables in a section of my blog. I find it fun to write short stories, steeped in the culture and climate of those ancient times, that reflect the philosophy in a more digestible manner. I hope it will lead you in wonderful directions too. Neil is a real keeper ain’t he? ❤🥰

The Tao, very good…Billy Holiday, another great one! And a very lovely sunrise! (I am used to seeing the sun rising over the water…) Great post!

I absolutely love Billie Holiday. There is nothing her soulful voice can’t mend. I’m jealous that you get to see the sunrise of the water, but I do love sitting on my porch and watching it rise over the mountain! Thank you!! 🙏

Over the mountain is just as beautiful I must say…Whenever I am inland I am fascinated by the sunsets and sunrises above the land. Having been born in the Mediterranean, I am so used to seeing those phenomenons over the sea…Thank you Kristian, all the best,
        Francisco

I think sunsets and sunrises are beautiful no matter where we are on the globe! I am not a huge fan of deserts, they are too flat and hot for my taste, but there is nothing like an Arizona sunset. Not to mention stargazing in the desert! I am obsessed with our sky!! All the best to you as well.

Beautiful photos! I watched an episode of Touched By An Angel on YouTube recently that told part of Billie Holiday’s story. It was great!
