I am a bit of an adrenaline junkie, not super crazy or anything, but I do enjoy that rush of adrenaline, especially when caused by fear. I love horror in all of its forms. I love the cheesy kind of horror that is so hoaky it’s comical, of course, I also love the kind of horror/thrillers that leave me hanging on the edge of my seat or staying up until 2:00 in the morning because I can’t put the book down.
Today’s pick is an underrated horror movie in my book. It’s not the scariest movie I’ve ever seen, it definitely has its “cheese,” but it also gave off creepy vibes, plus the acting and writing is well done.
Kristian’s 22nd Underrated movie is:
The People Under The Stairs (1991) Directed by Wes Craven
This story gives a unique twist to most haunted house stories. A thirteen-year-old boy tries to rob the home of his landlords, but he finds much for than he bargained for.
I recommend watching this movie in the dark with a glass of your favorite wine and some kettle corn.
Have you seen “The People Under The Stairs”? Did you enjoy it? What movie(s) do you recommend?
Love & life lessons,
Kristian
