My friend, Amanda, inspired me to try and create my own bowl. So I made up my own recipe for a teriyaki bowl. I made the teriyaki marinade from scratch, and cut up pieces of boneless, skinless chicken breast to throw in it. Then I cut up red peppers, broccoli, carrots, and mango. I added some black beans for extra flavor, protein, and texture, and served it all over brown rice. It was SO good. Definitely a new favorite creation! – Thanks for the inspiration, Amanda!!

This sunset has been added to my list of favorites, and I am beyond blessed to have witnessed its breathtaking beauty. Look at the rainbow of colors in the sky. Oh it does something for my bohemian soul!! I remember just standing in awe and being in its presence for as long as it would allow. Sunsets following thunderstorms are always spectacular!!

I was feeling nostalgic so I went through some old pictures and found this gem of me in high school with my friend and co-captain Billy.  Throw back to high school Marching Band!!

It was literally 70 degrees and sunny one day, and 32 degrees and gloomy the next. I took this picture to show gratitude for over-sized sweaters, and I was probably bored to be honest. I send my friend, Christen a picture of me almost everyday. I don’t know why, or how it even started, it’s just our thing.
