30 Underrated Movies, Day 8

sense of humor
I have been sharing lots of romantic comedies and sexy movies lately, so let’s change it up a bit, shall we?

This next choice, in my opinion, is one of the most underrated movies of all time. It also happens to be one of my all-time favorite Tim Curry movies.

I have no idea why this movie isn’t more popular, but it slipped under the radar.

Kristian’s 8th underrated movie is:

Clue (1985) Directed by Jonathan Lynn

clue

Six strangers are anonymously invited to a dinner party. After their host is killed, and the remaining survivors try to figure out who the killer is, while the body count continues to rise. Hilarious chaos ensues as many twists and turns continue throughout the movie, making it hard to figure out who the killer is while keeping you engaged.

The humor remains no matter how many times I watch this movie, which is part of its appeal. It’s a great, all-around movie. There aren’t too many perfect movies out there, but this is one of them!

If you have not seen it, I strongly encourage you to do so, it’s such a fun and engaging film. Writing this had made me want to watch it again.

I recommend this one with a beer, whatever your favorite beer is, (mine is Guinness,) and your favorite nut, (mine is pistachios.)
Ugh, I don’t know why the link isn’t embedding, but if you click it, it will take you to the theatrical trailer.
Have you seen Clue? Did you enjoy it? What underrated movie(s) do you recommend? I’d love to read your thoughts.
Love & life lessons,
Kristian

Tom Curry rocks! I’ll have to check this out, too. He was in one of the Wayans “Scary Movie” series as the evil host.

I saw clue as a play and also in film. Entertaining and funny. Kept me guessing.
Here’s another of my All Time Favorites: “Marty”. 1950’s NYC, Ernest Borgnine, Paddy Chayefsky (writer).
