Spilled Words

seduction

I guess you know

by now

that you have always

been my muse –

begging me to write us

in permanent ink

words spilled on pages

of bodies spilled on sheets

I don’t know

if it’s the music

or the words slipped

passed your tongue

bled through pages

written on my neck

but my body

has become

sanctuary

for butterflies

and I’m writing myself

whispering

come here.

Words are by yours truly

And this is the song I was listening to when I wrote this.
