Broken

It is okay to just be broken,

come home to me just as you are.

I won’t ask you about the wrong’s you have done,

there’s no judgement here, your past is yours.

I won’t try to change you into something you’re not,

that is not what love is about.

Come lay your head upon my chest,

and put your insecurities to sleep.

It breaks my heart that you know pain,

don’t be afraid to weep.

I’ve always been drawn to the sensitive ones,

I promise I won’t ever see you as weak.

All you have to do my dear, is say my name and I’ll come running.

My heart is yours to keep.
