Friday Favorites #2

Welcome back!! How is it Friday again, already? Not that I’m complaining, it just seems the older I get, the faster time goes.

Speaking of time, that is one of my favorite songs by Pink Floyd which is off the Dark Side of the Moon album. I have this on vinyl. I love records, and pretty much anything retro/vintage.

I love Paul Simon and I’ve been dancing around my office all week to this one!!

2. Roadhouse Blues by The Doors

I love, love, love The Doors!!! This is one of my favorites!

3. Show Me How to Live by Audioslave

Seriously, can we all just take a moment to appreciate the greatness that was Chris Cornell?!?! The man was SO talented!!

4. Next Life by Mira Goto & Marc Broussard

Okay, so I’m cheating a little bit with this song because Amanda sent it to me just this morning. She and I are constantly introducing each other to music. It’s one of my favorite things. If you share music with me, I’ll cherish you forever. I introduced her to Marc Broussard and she introduced me to this song! I fell in love with it. So even though I heard it for the first time this morning, I’ve already listened to it 3 times.

The line “I want to watch you watch a sunset, see the wonder in your eyes.” Oh, what a beautiful line!!

• A Baseball game at Camden Yards and trying the new “Top Notch O’s.” I love nachos!!

Birdland Nachos will dish out “Top Notch O’s,” Doritos-style chips with white cheese sauce, black olives, sour cream, salsa and scallions in a souvenir helmet. – The Baltimore Sun
