Traveling Blog Journal

Hello, lovelies! It’s another Sunday morning (my favorite,) but my leisure time will soon be over. I need to finish my Spring cleaning this weekend, but there is finally a light at the tunnel!

Anyway, before I get started I wanted to post this new tag by Brandy, author of Nova’s Namaste 365 Online.

You can read the original post where I was tagged here:

Nova says:

“I would love to pass a blog post, as if a journal, around. For the person tagged, I’d like you to just introduce yourself and tell us from what STATE/COUNTRY you reside. I’d like you to write something interesting about where you live once you’ve identified that. Then you can add a couple of your own details, if you’d like.

Each person who is tagged, please tag someone at the end of your post, and create a pingback to this post

Most of all,

Have Fun! 💖💚🌼

Thank you!!”

Nova gave me the honor of starting this fun journal, and I am indeed honored! Thank you so much, Nova.

This is me:

me1

This is my photo and this is me. My makeup is done but there are no filters.

My name is Kristian (pronounced Kristin) Cosner Weigman. I am 34-years-old and I am married to a wonderful man named Neil. Neil has his fair share of health issues, so in a way, I am also his caregiver, but I don’t look at it that way. I’ve never seen Neil and his disabilities, it’s always just been Neil.

I am a lover of many things, I am easily amused, and I take joy in the little things in life. I love music, I always have, I am constantly singing and dancing around my house, office, grocery store…. I also play clarinet in a community concert band. I’ve been playing since I was 8-years-old.

I lost my mother going on 4 years ago and I lost a piece of myself too. I started blogging when I knew she wasn’t going to be with me much longer, and since writing is therapeutic for me, I found it gave me an outlet for my emotions. And now, I blog about a variety of different topics, but grief always makes it’s way in. I suppose it always will.

Maryland, My Maryland

I live in The United States, in far western Maryland. I was born and raised here. I currently live in my late grandmother’s house, the house my late mother grew up in.

The area I live in is very rural, but I have seen it grow in my 34 years here. We now have some pretty cool, eclectic, little places such as a record store, a music lounge, a 50’s themed diner, and a quaint little cafe.

There are lots of beautiful scenery with views of multiple lakes, rivers, and creeks. Swallow Falls State back, rolling hills, Amish farms, and views of the Appalachian Mountains.

Maryland is known for its crab cakes, and I can say without a doubt, we make the best! There’s something about blue crab, and if you haven’t had it, you’re missing out. It’s worth it to come to Maryland for the crab alone. Of course, you’ll find the best crab cakes in Baltimore. Baltimore is home to Camden Yards and I am going to catch a game next month! I am so stoked!! Neil’s family is from Baltimore, so we visit quite a bit.

Maryland also has an island called Smith Island, I’ve never been, but I really want to. You drive to Crissfield and then take a boat to the island, where apparently they are known for their chocolate cake. It has become so famous that you can even order it online.

I’ll stop here but if you want to know more about my beautiful state or me, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Onto the next journal entry:

I pass the baton onto Laura Beth, author of Hot Shot Headlines.

Oh man, I want to nominate so many people, but I think Laura Beth will really enjoy this!

Love & life lessons,

Kristian

I have to admit I’m a little biased, but I’ve had King & Dungeness, & while good, nothing beats a blue crab! Also, crab cakes absolutely cannot have filler! Lol. I’ll have to go check out his blog!
