Welcome back!
I missed posting yesterday, so I figured I’d catch up today.
Day 4:
John Erick Dowdle’s As Above So Below (2014)
I am not usually a fan of shaky cam, but this movie is so worth it! I remember sitting in my chair, my knees pulled up to my chest, and pulling my blanket up to my chin, I held onto a throw pillow for comfort, and I think at some point during the movie I made a mad dash across the room to turn on the light! Ha ha. It was so creepy and very well done. It’s one of my favorites.
Day 5:
Mary Lambert’s Pet Sematary (1989)
“No Fair.”
The sister is the creepiest part of this whole movie, in my opinion. But I remember watching this movie as a pre-teen and it scared me. My mom and brother loved horror movies too, and we would often have movie nights and watch a bunch of horror movies back to back!
I still really like this movie, and I look forward to watching it every year around this time!!
What about you? Have you seen As Above So Below or Pet Sematary? What are your thoughts?
Love & life lessons,
Kristian
Ever seen The Gargoyle? B list cinematic gold!

The speaking through tinfoil voice effect was state of the art for its day. π

Iβve gone back and watched many of the older cult classics. They are all so corny. Iβm like how did I like these and then I remember thatβs how they all were back then π

I do too. I had Gargoyle on DVD until it got destroyed during our flooding a few years back. I lost about 300 movies and about 1000 CDs πππ

Music was my was of dealing with stuff. Medicinal, if you will. It hurts bad knowing they are gone. Several of them were imports worth hundreds

This reminds me of the original Terror At 20,000 Feet. The monster looked like the grape man from the old Fruit Of The Loom commercials…. poor William Shatner…. πΎ

I have honestly seen neither. And for some reason they remind me of Mystery Science Theatre 3000 π quality entertainment..

Hahaha!!! I love Mystery Science Theatre 3000. But I don’t think either are of such quality, but I do like some B list horror movies too! Sometimes the cheesier the better! Lol.

I havenβt seen either. With the 10lb chupacapra hellhound I have – anything with pets gone bad would only give her ideas..
