Part 4:

Later that same evening, Lorraine decided a night of wine, ice cream, and her favorite rom-coms were in order. She slipped on a pair of leggings and an extremely comfortable Beatles hoodie.

Growing tired of romance, none seemed to compare to that of her own, she decided to watch horror movies instead. As night fell, the thunderstorms started, she was lost in the story, gripping her blanket tightly up to her eyes, shouting “Holly, what are you doing? Don’t open that door! ARE YOU CRAZY?!!:

A knock at the door interrupted her thoughts and she let out a scream as she fell on the floor.

“Whose there?” She asked, slightly frightened.

“Baby, open the door.”

“Dean?”

Time seemed to slow as she unlocked the door, the only barrior keeping her from the man of her dreams.

She opened the door and took in the sight of him, completely drenched, raindrops settling on parts of his dark beard. His white tee shirt clinging to him, his disheveled, plaid shirt hanging from his muscular body.

She had to shake her head, was this reality? It felt like she was watching a scene from a movie, how in the world did she get so lucky?

He hadn’t said a word, yet she knew why he was at her front door, his eyes told her everything she needed to know, and as he walked into her apartment he grabbed her around the waist, kicking the door shut with his foot, and pushing her up against the closed door, all in one swift motion, it was the hottest thing she’d ever experienced.

“I want you,” he breathed into her ear, “And I don’t just mean sexually. I want all of you, all of your flaws, all of your mistakes, every single thing that makes you who you are.” “Deter me?” “My darling, the devil himself couldn’t deter me away from you.”

Lorraine started to speak, but he hushed her by placing his finger to her lips, before sucking on her bottom one. He looks her in the eyes. Grasping her face in his large hands. “I will spend the rest of my life showing you that you are more than enough, I know what it feels like, to feel like you’re not enough, like nothing you could ever do will ever be enough. It breaks my heart that you understand that kind of pain. I promise I will never do that to you.”

Tears stream down her cheeks as she lets his words sink in. He wraps his arms around her shoulders, pulling her into him. “I want this.” “I want us.” “Be my baby?”

“I’ve been yours sine the moment our eyes met, at the Cadillac Lounge.”

To be continued…..

Please don’t hate me, I know this is short. I promise tomorrow’s will be longer!!

Love & life lessons,

Kristian
