THE MUPPETS BOOK TAG

The Muppets

Laura Beth tagged me in another fun post!! Oh my goodness, I love the Muppets, they are a childhood favorite!!

Here’s the link to Laura Beth’s original post: (By the way, if you’re not already following Laura Beth at Hot Shot Headlines, I highly recommend you do so!)

Swedish Chef

Name a book that should have been good but left the foulest taste in your mouth…

Swedish Chef

Eragon by Christopher Paolini I had such high hopes … I am taken with fantasy, dragons, etc…, but this was such a Lord of the Rings rip off! I was so disappointed.

Fozzie Bear

Name a book that you couldn’t help but laugh at the jokes or characters

Fozzie Bear

For this one, I have two:

Bunson Honeydew and Beaker

Name a book that made you feel a little smarter by the end of it

DR Bunsen Honeydew And Beaker

A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens – I learned so much about the French Revolution! This is still one of my all time favorite pieces of literature!

Crazy Harry

Name a book where a character or something about the book drives you crazy

Crazy Harry

Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte – Okay, first of all, let me just say that I LOVE this book!! It is very well written, and I like stories of forbidden love, however; I chose this book because of Heathcliff. Once again, don’t get me wrong, I love the man, I was rooting for him throughout the books entirety, however; I was so annoyed by him because I just wanted him to come barging in and take Catherine away. He was clearly the best match for her, and she was head over heels in love with him, he just needed to grow a spine! I like my men with some backbone!!

Janice

Name a book that was an easy read and gave you good vibes

Janice

To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee – What a fantastic read. Also, one of my all time favorites!!

Stalter & Waldorf

A book that you loved and was turned into a movie that you hated

Stalter and Waldorf

Dr. Suess’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas (2000 live action version) – I loved the book as a child, and I still love the original animated version. I remember being so psyched to see the live action version with Jim Carrey, but I was so let down by it. I guess maybe, it lost some of it’s charm. I also didn’t think the acting was all that great, nor did I find the movie funny.

I am looking forward to Illumination’s adaptation coming out this November!

Tag – You’re It!

  • Anyone who wants to do it!!

Who is your favorite Muppet?

Oh, I can’t pick just one!! Animal, Beaker, Gonzo, and Kermit!

Love & Life Lessons,

Kristian

  1. When I was at school, people said I reminded them of Animal….. I took it as a compliment. 🙂
