30 Day Jazz/Swing/Blues Challenge Day 25

I swear doing these challenges makes the weeks go by faster. It feels like I did last Wednesday’s 2 days ago! Anyway, Happy Wednesday, dear readers!

Today’s song choice comes from one of my all time favorite movies, Casablanca! I’ve had a lot of people my age give me a hard time for loving this movie as much as I do, because it’s old, “It’s not even in color,” they say.

A lot of my favorite movies are in black in white, as I mentioned before I’m an old soul, and there’s just something so charming about the classics. Give me Danny Kaye, Humphrey Bogart, Jimmy Stewart, and Marlon Brando! Don’t get me wrong, I like a lot of today’s actors too, you all know my obsession with Mr. Cumberbatch! Still, there’s just something about a classic!

Day 25:

As Time Goes by by Dooley Wilson (aka: Sam)

Enjoy!

Love & life lessons,

Kristian

Excellent choice! I first saw Casablanca in high school, because my history teacher loved the movie, and the significance to both the movie industry and the real-world events at the time.
