Week 20: A friend 2
This week I am going to talk about my best guy friend (other than my husband, of course.) Jason P. Jason has become like a brother to me. He shares my sense of humor, and gets my nerdy side. Neil, Jason, and I have been through a lot together, and while Jason knew Neil before me, he has never known me without Neil. He was there for the beginning of our relationship! He was there when Neil and I shared our first Halloween together, he was a part of our wedding, and he has become our family. There is no doubt in my mind; he will be there for the birth of our child!
Jason was there for me when my mom passed away. He understood that I wanted the company, but didn’t say a word because I wasn’t very good company. I pretty much just stared at the wall to keep from crying. He sat next to me and didn’t say a word, he didn’t have to.
Jason has been there for my entire family, and we have all taken him in as one of our own. Not that he needs it, his family is great too, but Jason is so wonderful, how could we not count him as family? Jason is fun to hang out with, it doesn’t matter if we are going on a trip, hanging outside at a barbecue, or watching a movie. There is never a dull moment with Jason around!!
Jason – Thank you so much for everything you do for us, for always being there, and most importantly, for just being you! For being a part of our lives and being one of the best friend’s we could have asked for! You inspire me in so many ways, and I feel like a bad friend, because it’s been so long since we have hung out, but we will get together very soon, and when we do, it will be awesome!! I love you!!
